CEMRE YESIL
the clouds were blue
When I was a kid, the clouds were blue.
This work was produced during the photography residency directed by the Magnum photographer Antoine d’Agata which took place in Atelier de Visu in Marseille. It focuses on the way a kid appreciates the sun, the wind and the gravity in relation to the act of ‘playing’. This work is published by Studio vortex, Atelier de Visu, in Journal 5/6.
---------------------------------------
I knew that I was missing something but I wasn't sure what it was. Although there were times that I thought I knew, I kept looking for it. Sometimes the things we miss replace each other in the flow of life but for some of them we know that they are never coming back. This series of photographs was my discovery of the way a kid appreciates the sun, the wind and the gravity which was never coming back for me.
